I saw Melt was getting great traction on social media and being an advocate for local businesses, when i was asked to organise a staff celebration at work I thought I would give these guys a go and they did not disappoint! Great food, great service & I will definitely order from thrm again!

Proper pizza and proper hospitality

Fresh, tasty and cooked to order. They are not wrong about making the best pizza in Southampton. (Dave likes the hot wings best). The staff also seem to really care that you are enjoying yourselves, which makes such a difference when compared with the usual chains.

Magnificent meat feast

Had a delicious meat feast pizza and some skin on fries with a garlic dip . Food is so good , really really fresh , the chef is great , highly recommend Melt pizza .

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All the lights are out on Wednesday night at 6pm. Not open? Strange. Located in the rear garden terrace entrance of the Bitterne Hotel in two shipping containers and, visible from Whitworth Crescent, is this clean, tidy and authentic Italian style pizza place. There are a few steps up to the entrance with branded flags along the way. I found the staff friendly and gave me a menu to choose from. I opted for a simple tandoori chicken pizza at £13. It was delicious and authentic stone baked. I would recommend it based on the stone baked oven unlike the other pizza outlets that I have tried. Unfortunately not easy access for disabled people due to the steps.

We came for my daughter’s birthday and then even popped a candle on the garlic bread and played happy birthday. Best Hawaiian pizza I’ve ever had- thanks so much to Gino the chef! However, the pizza sauce was watery and flavourless, bizarrely the cheese was also bland. Because of this the Margherita was so strange as it didn't really taste of anything. The Carbonara pizza was intensely salty and this overwhelmed any other flavour. The cheesy garlic bread simply didn't taste of garlic, and again it suffered from the bland cheese effect. Everything looked great, the trailer looked clean and the staff were friendly. Sadly the food just didn't taste good at all.

The food was very tasty, the pizza didn't feel greasy or heavy but it was extremely filling. The cheesy garlic bread is absolutely perfect! Gino, the chef, made sure our food was just right and made our visit very pleasant. This was our first visit, we will definitely be returning :)
